The giant
sea slug is a massive, ten-foot-long gastropod that crawls along the ocean
floor or flutters through the water by rippling its ribbon-like body. These
creatures are often very colorful to ward off potential predators. Sea slugs
make their bodies poisonous by absorbing toxins or stinging cells from the
sponges and jellyfish they eat.
