Here's a lovely picture of some ice crystals, because I can't find a good jack frost picture that isn't from some Legend of the Guardians fanfic. |

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Cold (Su)
Any creature touching a frostjack with natural weapons or an
unarmed strike takes 1d6 points of cold damage.
Cold Aura (Su)
Any creature within 10 feet of the frostjack must make A DC
16 Fortitude save or take 1d6 points of cold damage. The save DC is Constitution based.
Frost Touch (Su)
A frostjack deals 2d8 points of cold damage with a
successful touch attack. Creatures touched must also make a DC 16 Fort save or
become staggered for 1 round.
Alternately, the
frostjack can make a touch attack against a single metal object. A frostjack’s frost touch ability functions
as the spell chill metal (CL 8th)
against metal objects. An attended
object, any magic object, or a metal creature can attempt a DC 16 Reflex save
to negate this effect. The save DC is
Constitution based.
ECOLOGY
Environment any
cold
Organization solitary,
pair, flight (3-12)
Treasure standard
Frostjacks are mischievous winter fey creatures and great
lovers of the beauty of ice. Some praise
frostjacks for the delicate, fern-like patterns they create on glass and frozen
ponds, while others see them as a deadly pest, spreading frostbite and winter
hardship. Individual frostjacks range
from neutral good to neutral evil, but regardless of their personal
motivations, these hoary sprites are not to be trifled with.
